Regional Account Manager (RAM)

Home Care Connect, based in Winter Park, FL, is expanding and seeking an experienced Regional Account Manager (RAM) to service the Tampa/Miami territory. This role is responsible for securing leads for new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with clients, responding to requests for information and proposals, Home Health and Durable Medical Equipment quotes, marketing presentations, and holding meetings with adjusters, risk managers, and case managers. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of sales experience, preferably in the Workers' Compensation Industry.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Business Development

  • Identify, engage, plan, and develop new regional accounts.
  • Manage current accounts to assure sales volume grows year after year. This includes increasing utilization in national accounts.
  • Sell target accounts, identify prospects, and create new ideas to generate revenue and new opportunities.
  • Have established relationships with clients in the workers' compensation industry.
  • Have relationships at large self-insured employers in the territory.
  • A history of defined success, selling services to WC adjusters, risk managers, nurse case managers, etc.
  • Enhance current account and business opportunities by working with regional resources.
  • Report opportunities and leads through pipeline reports and sales reports. Qualify leads and ensure to involve National Sales Representative as needed.
  • Meet expectations of account face to face visits as set forth by company policy. (Meet weekly and monthly expectations of account visits as deemed necessary by Sales Manager)
  • Work with National Account Managers and provide information by date of request.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and attend CEU programs.

Customer Relations

  • Report client issues for suitable resolution according to company policy.
  • Resolve issues and ensure the highest level of quality service by coordinating Sales Manager, Resolution Desk, Operations Manager when appropriate.
  • Oversee account compliance to ensure company contracts are maximized to full potential.
  • Ability to sell virtually as well as in person.
  • Ability to creatively develop market events to engage customers on the HCC brand, 1-2 events per week.


  • Engage in industry partner program relationships to summon and discuss market and customers. There is an expectation of at least one networking/industry event per month.
  • Represent and foster company at conferences, business affiliations, charity events, vendor fairs, and company functions.
  • Host weekly client engagements in market.


  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Workers' Compensation Industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated history of success in the workers' compensation industry with a pre-existing network of contacts.
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years B2B sales experience with proven quota achievement, experience in healthcare sales.
  • Bilingual: Spanish & English preferred.
